The Zippi Help Process begins even before the housekeeping staff arrives each day. When the Executive Housekeeper arrives early on turn day, a completed room assignment sheet awaits, staffing needs have been forecasted, and supplies have been ordered, which gives us a head start on early arrivals and makes the entire day run more smoothly.
To assure every unit is Zippi Help Clean, two signature processes are employed at every resort we serve, Zippi Help 7 Steps to Clean and Zippi Help ’s Clean & Inspect System.
7 Steps is a systematic process for delivering consistent cleans. At every resort, we certify 7 Steps champions who teach each new housekeeper and ingrain the 7 Steps process staff-wide until it becomes a part of the culture. Other than adapting to the different floor plans and management company requirements, every unit is cleaned the same way and every housekeeper is trained the same way at every resort we serve across the country, which provides a consistency never before possible in the housekeeping industry.
The thoroughness of the 7 Steps process is designed to eliminate those ‘things’ that are often missed otherwise, and efficiencies are built into the process to assure timeliness.
In addition to the efficiency of the 7 Steps process, our site managers teach how to work within time constraints without compromising quality. Completing all units on time is not just something we strive to do; it’s a way of life.
Zippi Help Clean and Inspect System is uniquely efficient and thorough.
Our Supervisor inspectors expect every unit to be clean and fully inventoried, with no evidence of prior occupancy. Our standards are uncompromising. If a room does not meet our high standards, as well as the standards of the resort, the inspector will either correct the problem or bring the housekeeper back in. If the problem is recurrent, the housekeeper is retrained. Consistency is a product of training, accountability, and systemic repetition.
Our inspectors / Supervisors take a report of all housekeepers each day .
These reports and scores are used to evaluate employee performance and reward high performers, as well as re-train those who have not met the standard.
